I recently bought a new router that seems to be having problems.
My Internet stops working, then when I switch routers it works well, then it goes out, etc…Instead of trying to repair or resolve the issues with the router, I have decided to buy another router with Tomato on it. I have used one before that the DDWRT and it worked extremely well.
I will buy one off of eBay that is already loaded with Tomato, so I will not brick it or have to worry about learning how to do that.
My question(s) is that I see the older routers like I used to have, but also see plenty that appear to be newer routers that have faster speeds.
The router will be connected to my primary router via powerline networking. I used to put the router right next to my primary router for a direct connection, but I need just a bit more coverage.
Which Tomato based router would you suggest? I can buy it anywhere that offers it, but eBay seems to have good deals and I can trust the source (usually).
Here is what I used to have:

Here are some other options, although I am open to anything:

Thank you for any feedback or advice on which router to purchase.
