Question about a hard drive in a new system build

I’m building a pc for a friend and he will be doing a lot of audio production and video editing. Will a 1TB or 2TB hard drive be enough for him, or should he get a hard drive with more storage?

dannyinnelli, great question. Eventually storage will become a priority so it seems like a larger HDD is required. It depends a lot on budget as well. As for the Seagate drive you have choose; here is the data sheet and manual in case you need it.

260GB or 500GB SSD for the OS and application drive. That WD Blue is a good choice.
1-2-4-8TB HDD's for other stuff and backups.
For some people, a 1TB HDD would be fine. Other people, an 8TB isn't enough.

It all depends on his use. And you can always add more drives later.
