okay so i know my hard drive was bad.... went out got another one up to 4 and thought they were bad then i ended up getting my money back then even my old hdd wouldnt pick up switched data cables still nothing then i got this bright idea to switch cables that come out of the psu...not sure what they are called then it booted straight up could that of been my issue with hard drives all along?

Solution
OK yours is not "modular". And I agree a bad connector is the issue. You can use any other connection with the same type of plug/connector on the end. Since you already fixed the issue..way to go!
Is the PSU modular or fixed wired? It is not uncommon for modular connectors to have faulty contact or fail all together. If it is fixed wired and a lead went bad, I would suspect the wiring going into the connector at the end is bad.

yes thats what im thinking cause i have rebooted the thing about 6 times so far no issues i believe it was a bad connector i mean the psu is about 3 years old and its a crap brand so what can u say
