Question about adding enhancements to the Holy Avenger

Do enhancements added to the Holy Avenger in the drow camp in HotU do
anything? i started adding a few +1 enhancements and in my character
sheet nothing seems to be changing. Like the attack bonus or the
damage shown,i reloaded and wont do this again till i find out for
sure. When i add the same +1 bonuses to Enserric i actually see a
change to attack bonus and damage in the character sheet so im
curiousbefore i spend the gold on the avenger.

Not until you get past +2 (if non-paladin) or +5 (if paladin). The
enhancement bonus from HA is not added to "regular" enhancement bonuses
such as created by the HotU weaponsmith.
