I'm thinking about upgrading my GF4 Ti4200 128, and found a good card
(on paper) that I want. It's a AOpen Geforce FX 5700LE w/ 256MB of
onboard video RAM.
My question: is the manufacturer "AOpen" good? I've never heard of them
and the card does not have any reviews on the site.
Secondly, I run a MSI K7t-Turbo2 motherboard (MS-6330) which allows up
to 4X AGP speeds. Will this card be compatible with that, even though it
can go up to 8X?
I think the PSU in my system is sufficient for this VGA-- recently
upgraded to a 420W with this new case I bought.
Any help would be appreciated. Here are the rest of my specs for my PC
if you need to know:
AMD 2400+ XP @ 2.0 Ghz
1 Gig of SDram @133
I would just like a card that is around that price range, has those kind
of specs, and will be as reliable as my Asus GeForce 4 Ti4200/128 has
been. Thanks.
