Question about AHCI

the registry entry "Start" in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\msahci

is set to 0

and

also the value at: Device Manager\IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers\Intel(R) Mobile Express Chipset SATA AHCI Controller\Details\Service is iaStor

which means my BIOS is set to AHCI mode and windows is using AHCI mode.

I have installed Ubuntu MATE alongside my windows, My Question is :

Is my Ubuntu Mate also using AHCI ?

Whatever BIOS i set to Linux has to use it too, if it wasn't, it wouldn't boot at all.
