I recently assembled an AMD rig consisting of an AMD Ryzen 7500f, 2x16 sticks of ram from HyperX Fury Beast at 5600 MHz with a CL of 40. I originally ordered 6000 MHz sticks with a CL of 30, but the store made a mistake. Anyways, I'm planning on returning my sticks on Saturday for the 6000 MHz CL30 kit. That's besides the point.

The point is the current kit I have only seems to support Intel's XMP, and according to my board manufacturer, my board (MSI A620M-E Pro) supports AMD EXPO and XMP. Now in the BIOS, I've enabled XMP for the current kit. In order to install my new 6000 MHz kit with EXPO support, would I need to CMOS reset the bios? and what are your recommendations on ram kits that 100% support AMD EXPO, sorry if this seems scattered.

would I need to CMOS reset the bios?
If you did so, your platform will (re)train itself with the new ram kit. If not, your system might take a couple of reboots to retrain when your new ram kit is populating the slots.

If I were you, I'd try and look for ram that is advertised to hold an E.X.P.O on them. Since X.M.P is a n Intel thing.
