Hey Everyone,

I just purchased a samsung S23A750D (120Hz) which supports stereo 3D and in my system I have a Radeon 6870 GPU.

My question is, does HD3D work with Displayport cables? Then I could get 120Hz (60Hz Per Eye) at 1080p If i'm not mistaken?

Thanks:)

Yep, you need either displayport or dual link DVI. Also, that's the same exact monitor I have (got 3 of em' in eyefinity), they are great hope you enjoy it =).

AMD HD3D generally only works with displayport and hdmi, with at least 1 exception. Displayport is the preferred connection of the two. Samsung's 700 series works through dual link DVI-D, as at least one exception. I do not know how they get around the frame packing requirement, but it works.
