I been looking to throw my home stereo into my vehicle for a little bit it is an edison professional 5000 and it has 10000w of total power. I obviously don't want to take the chances of ruining my speakers so I been looking into getting a converter box for cigarette lighter to outlet but im not sure what amp usage the system has and im not sure which converter box i should get due to not knowing the amp usage so I was wondering if anyone on here might know the amp usage for the stereo? Thanks in advance.

There is no obvious manual for that system on-line. The best you can do is look at the labeling on the amp. My guess is that you will have to get an AC adapter that connects directly to the battery to have enough wattage. The cigarette lighter adapters are limited to about 100W. I believe you will need more than that.

Yeah i did a watt to amp conversion online the stereo is 90 some amp so I have to get the ac to dc power converter that has atleast close to it cause i know it has to go by amp usage and in order to get the right 1 its close to $200 so it won't be anytime soon for sure. Unfortunately the system hasn't really helped besides having the watt and voltage crazy technology for sure now i have a converter to send back 1.04 amp is way off from what I actually need and it probably will be 1 that connects to the battery.
