Question About arma 2

Guys, my pc meets the recommended requirements for arma 2, so i downloaded the demo from steam. Im only getting 20 fps, when i know i should be getting much more. Any help, thanks in advance

Have you tried using Razer Game Booster? I heard it can help a little bit on older PC's so you might wanna give it a shot.

yes ive tried canirunit, and it says i meet the recommended requirement

Are you using a laptop or desktop?

Desktop. My specs are
Hd 7770 ghz
amd x4 750k
4gb ram
asus a88xm-a mobo
500gb hdd

After doing some google searching, people are complaining about arma II's engine, so that might be the issue. Is this the only game you have low FPS in?
