Has anyone had any trouble installing
An OS on a Asus m4a79 xtd Evo
I had two of these boards and neither one would install an OS i called Asus and they couldn't even help me ended up sending the second board back to where i got it. It wasn't the Windows disk because i used the same disk on a different machine and it installed fine then when i took the drive i just installed the OS on and hooked it up to the M4a79xtd it went into recovery mode oh bother way both boards are asus. This was being installed as Ahci not raid. I did see the post on someone having trouble installing it as raid.
Any help would be appreciated

Asus motherboard
16 Gig ram
AMD PHENOMENON 2 3.4 Ghz
1 terabyte hard drive
485 watt psu
AMD 5450 xfx video card.
