Welp, I'm thinking of buying a new gfx card for my new pc (the detials (of the pc) don't really matter for my question), and many people recommended the ATI RADEON 8500.
Now, I'm from Israel, and the company that imports the ATI RADEON 8500 cards told me that ATI stopped manufacturing the graphics cards and are now only selling the chips for other companies who manufacture the cards. They tell me that the card they are selling is:
PALIT / XpertVision ATI RADEON 8500 - 65MB DDR - AGP
OEM version. A guy I now bought the RADEON in Israel, thinking it was the original ATI card and not a different company with ATI's chip... he says the card he got has really bad filters and he did not get any manual or instruction book, nor the 3cds or the other appliances that were supposed to come with the RETAIL version which he thought he was buying.
My question is what do you know about PALIT / XpertVision? Are they any good? If not, what other companies do you recommened that manufactures GFX cards with ATI's RADEON 8500 chip?
