Hi guys.

Sorry to bother you. I have a question.

I want to buy an Xiaomi 65W GaN Charger; Output: 5V = 3A 15W, 9V = 3A 27W, 10V = 5A 50W, 12V = 3A 36W, 15V = 3A 45W, 20V = 3,25A 65W max

My default laptop charger is magsafe 2 85W: Output: 20V, 4.25A max - 85W.
Now i have an magsafe 2 60W: Output 16.5v, 3.65a - 60W. (bought few years ago and it is charging fine the laptop).

I want the xiaomi because of the small form factor. But i am concerned about the differences of amps especially.
It is safe for my macbook to use that xiaomi charger?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

Ty for your reply. My mac is retina pro 15 2015 (A1398) - magsafe 2 magetic charger.

That A1707 have the charger with the specs: 20.3V 4.3A 87W (usb type C charger).

I am still confused if it is safe to use that xiaomi.
