Yes, it's compatible with socket 1150.

Next up is its height. It is 159mm tall so your case needs to be at least 8" wide.

If the right side of the case is removable and you have a cutout behind the CPU allowing you access you can leave the motherboard in during installation.

Your RAM stick is almost certainly fine.
If there is interference, you can slide the fan up a little bit. It's just held on with clips, and that will not affect the cooling properties.

Why an old cooler like the Hyper 212?

Is it too tall? Telling us which RAM you have allows us to offer a definitive answer. I do agree with USAF.
