Question Question about CMOS battery

So I think my cmos battery died coz if the power cuts my bios reset everytime.
If so can a dead cmos battery cause mouse to act,feel weird?

A dead CMOS battery will cause you to constantly input times into your system/laptop with an error that settings have been changed. The time will be the obvious giveaway that the BIOS is being reset to defaults. Also the mouse acting up could be an USB driver issue.

I updated my usbs and such and changed many mice and also got a new PC. Maybe it's the inputs u are talking about causing weird latency in my games ?

Nontheless. I'll change it tomorrow and test it out!

I have a last question. I changed the CMOS.
Can the previous one have possibly corrupted some drivers and I need to re-install windows to be sure ?
