Hello there. I was looking for some advice on my PC's situation. I have an FX 8350 and an AsRock 990fx extreme3 motherboard. When I first got my CPU I accidently bent the pins but I straightened them and the CPU has been working since. I recently overclocked my CPU but I could only get 4.4 GHz out of it. It has been running fine on that clock speed ever since (tested on prime 95 etc). I was wondering if the low clock speed is because of the motherboard being not good enough to get a higher clockspeed, because I bent my pins or because I ran my PC under high temps for a while (don't know exact temps but they were quite high. Temps are cool now: after market cooler but I only have exhaust fans now as the front fan broke). I also got a blue screen yesterday which sparked this question. What do you think caused this?
Thanks very much.
