Cyrorig r1 Ultimate or Cyrorig r1 Universal.

I heard the Noctua d15 is way too big and it's whatever.

Question if either of the Cyrorigs are compatible with: Gigabyte - GA-Z270X-Ultra Gaming ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

And I'd also list the ram I'm using considering I heard ram installation is an issue with these big coolers. Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory.

The Case I'm using is also Corsair - 760T White V2 ATX Full Tower Case

As for my CPU I'm going to be using the i7 7700k. With a 1080 ti.

Thanks :)

And the reason I'm not going with liquid cooling is because no way in fucking hell I'm risking a leakage. Which is bound to happen almost 100% after use or even as soon as u plug it in.

I might be looking to OC, but I want this PC to be cool as F*ck since I'm going to be streaming on it.

And it being screwed in theres no way of either of these coolers falling and fucking my shit up right LOL?

sry ima noob when it comes to coolers and air flow shit :p

I just bought the Cyrorig r1 Ultimate and put it on a 2600k with a Asus maximus iv hero board. My ram sits in slot 2,4 and the fan actually would not slide down next to the ram stick, I could have forced it but it would have put pressure on the stick. I ended up buying a Cryorig CR-XTA 140mm slim fan and have no fit issues now.

two things I have noticed with this cooler, 1 I have it inside a Corsair Carbide 200R and the cooler comes all the way out to the side panel, so no top fan on the side panel. 2 the little wire mounting brackets get very close to the backside of the video card in my first slot. I ended up cutting thin strips of electric tape and wrapped it around the bracket about 3/16" thick right at the bend where it hooks to the cooler its self. this way if I does drop down it will hit the tape and not ground out the card.

There's no way the case I'm getting will have any issues with any cooler.. it's just the fact that how fucking big is it and will my ram fit and will it not fuck up my gpu slotting..?

Like why is it so hard to find a good cooler that has no risks and wont make my life harder LOL

If you have plenty of room from the side panel you can slide the fan up a little on the cooler and it will clear your ram.

My issue is I have no room between the cooler and side panel so I had to replace the fan with a slim to fit down beside my ram. Other then that its a solid cooler, have moved the case from work to home and then back to work with the cooler installed with no issues.
