Question about Corsair Ax1500 and Asus x99 deluxe: WTF happened

So, ive been posting some threads about my system not turning on.
Just to make this thread short, ill post what happened:
I tried to build 2 x99 systems, one for me, and the other for my brother. Both with 5960x proccessors.
I put one on an x99 deluxe motherboard with a corsair axi 1500. Everything was plugged fine. System never booted.
I tried putting the other brand new 5960x on the same motherboard. Same issue. Didnt boot.
Decided to get a new x99 deluxe and used a tx850m i have been using with no problems for two years now, as psu. Same issue. 2 5960x fried confirmed.

What happened here?
The PSU burned both proccesors?
I bought both the psu and the first x99 deluxe used, on ebay. Is it possible that the x99 deluxe killed the processors and not the psu?

When i was trying to turn the system on, all i always got was one second of the system trying to boot, and then the system turned itself off. The corsair axi 1500 shows a red light when this ocurrs.

The weird part is, if i unplug everything from the psu and press the self test button, i get a green light and the fan spins like saying "im working".

Are you talking about the Asus X99 Deluxe motherboard? Because those have been having very high DOA rates. I read one review on Newegg I think, the guy RMA'd 3 of them before receiving one that actually worked.

Yes, asus x99 deluxe.
But it is possible that this POS mobo burnt two 5960x?
I pve read here on this forum that "a mobo cant kill a cpu" ... It seems like it is possible i guess?
And what about the psu? It shows me a green light when is unplugged just to the pc fans. Does that means anything? Or can it be faulty even if it shows a green light when i press "self test"?

Chances are your processors are fine, it's rare that a motherboard will fry a processor unless the processor wasn't installed properly. Your PSU is also probably fine, have you tried these PSU's in any other computers recently? As in, after using them with the X99 boards? That motherboard is just unreliable, Asus is usually one of the top brands, but they really messed something up with their X99 boards.

Nono, as i said before, they are fried 100% confirmed.
I installed em on a new asus x99a with a reliable psu i have been using.
Error 00.
Tried em on my brothers rampage v extreme. Error 00.
Something went veeery bad and i dont know what it was.
