Question about CPU motherboard compatibility!

Alright so I've got an Athlon 860k and an Asus a88x pro on order and I've been told that my bios may need an update because the 860k is kaveri on a a88x platform. So I've checked asus's website and it says since bios 1 and f1 next to the CPU so am I good to go or what?

You need to have at least BIOS version 1301.

Seeing how old that version of BIOS is, there will likely be an even newer version pre-loaded when the board comes.
