Hi, I currently have a pc in which I want to replace and upgrade the current CPU. I’m also planning on building a new pc in a couple months. While I wait to build the new pc (waiting for money) I want to put the new cup in my current computer. Will the CPU be fine if it is swapped into a new motherboard once I get all the parts for the new PC?

Solution
Yeah it'll be fine. Just make sure you know how to properly remove/install a CPU. If you've got Windows 10, make sure you link your Windows Activation License to your Microsoft account, because changing hardware on a PC can invalidate your license, but linking activation to microsoft account allows you to reactivate windows 10 on "new" PC.
