Question About CPU Upgrade

So I will most likely get a rx 470 soon and then I am wondering should I get an i5 4460 from ebay, there are some bids that go for around half the normal price and is compatible with my current mobo.

If you intend to play anything besides older games (CS:GO, ARMA, etc), yes, it would be a great upgrade along with the graphics card.

You will likely not see an improvement in games that rely heavily on a single core, but you will see a benefit in most recent AAA titles that take advantage of multiple cores.

Bought the i7 in my laptop from an eBay bid.

One arrived with bent pins (poorly packaged). The next was just fine and has been going for more than a year now.

Try to get one from a bidder with a good reputation vs. just the lowest price you can find.
