question about cpus

im new 2 computers and I was wondering if the Intel Pentium G3258 with GTX 750 Ti Vs A8 6600k GTX 750 Ti, out of those 2 which would perfume better and if so why?

Here is a typical G3258 build:
UserBenchmarks: Desktop 72%, Gaming 33%, Workstation 32%
CPU: 76.9% Intel Pentium G3258
GPU: 28.9% Nvidia GTX 750 Ti
SSD: 92.4% Samsung 850 Evo 250GB
HDD: 85.9% WD Blue 1TB (2012)


And here is the equivalent A8 6600K Build:
UserBenchmarks: Desktop 56%, Gaming 32%, Workstation 33%
CPU: 56.5% AMD A8-6600K APU
GPU: 28.9% Nvidia GTX 750 Ti
SSD: 92.4% Samsung 850 Evo 250GB
HDD: 85.9% WD Blue 1TB (2012)


For gaming both builds are limited by the 750 ti and therefore comparable, but the G3258 build is far better for general desktop use.

I would go with the G3258 because it will perform better than the A8 6600K in games and daily use. I believe the 6600K performs slightly better with multi-threaded applications (video/photo editing, and a couple games that utilize more than 2 threads), but most games don't use more than 2 threads anyway so the G3258 would be the best choice. It will also overclock worlds better than the 6600K.
