question about differing ram in my pc

i currently have 4gb ram in my dell studio desktop (4x1gb), and i'm wanting to upgrade and was looking at my specs to see what type of ram i should be getting. 3 of those 1gb are reading pc6400, and the last is reading pc5300....i cannot find in windows 10 home to see my configuration on what my motherboard will support and prefer, but i'm guessing since 3 of my current sticks are pc6400, that would be the best choice?

any suggestions or info offered is greatly appreciated.

Both will work the PC 5300 and the PC 6400 too. (PC 5300 - 667 MHZ Frequency and PC 6400 - 800 MHZ Frequency)
But ofc the best choice is getting the PC 6400 ones because of the higher frequency.
And the worst part is that you install mixed pairs of ram that meaning PC 5300 and PC 6400 the modules function at the speed of the slowest module installed.

well technically i didn't install the two different rams, they were in the computer from when i bought it from dell, so they installed the two different types of ram. i just found out about it after installing cpu-z and looking at the type of ram for an upgrade. i was confused about it, so i thought to ask here. ty for your reply!
