Question Question about DIMM Socket Support

I have the b560 pro4 and I am wanting to get 4 sticks of 8GB Vengeance RGB from corsair (CMW32GX4M4K4000C19). On the support list it shows that the DIMM Socket Support is only 2 instead of 2/4. Could I still put the 4 sticks in the computer, or no? (My motherboards support website https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/B560 Pro4/index.asp#MemoryCML)
Yes you could, what it means by 2 is the advertised speed will run better on 2 slots only (slot 2 and 4).

Whose support list: Corsair or Asrock?

This:

"Could I still put the4 sticks in the computer or no/?"

Yes, you probably can but if the motherboard's User Guide/Manual or Asrock's website does not explicitly support that RAM configuration then you cannot expect it to work.

Check a couple of other RAM manufacturers: Kingston, Crucial, etc.. Look for a consensus on what RAM configurations are supported.

well it's a hit and miss. just go and try. You could atleast turn on the XMP, then downclock the ram speed to 3600mhz, test if it's stable running them at 4 sticks. then proceed to increase to 3733 etc until 4000mhz, and if it's stable, then it's pretty much stable.
ok thank you
