[SOLVED] Question about dual monitors

Im gonna get a new monitor during the holiday season and ive currently got a 1080P 144hz monitor that i want to use as my second monitor. And for my new primary monitor im gonna buy a 1440P monitor with 165 hz.

Now my question is, can i have 1 monitor set to 165 hz 1440P and the other to 1090P 144hz? Or do they need to be the same resolution and hz sorta like how SLI works or RAM, needs to be the same.

Just go with a single 100Hz+ 34" ultra-wide. Gives you almost as much width as 2 1080p and you don't have the bezel to worry about. Plus the added width makes gaming amazing.

You can use different size, resolution, and refresh rate monitors without issue.
When they are different sizes sometimes your mouse will get stuck in a top corner because they line up along the bottom, its not really an issue just something to consider.

The resolution doesn't need to be the same it will work fine.
