Question about DVI cables; what do I need?

I'm getting a graphics card that needs a DVI-I Dual Link port.

My monitor has a DVI-D Dual Link port.

The monitor came with a DVI-D single link cable, but I'm not sure if that will work.

What sort of cables/adapters do I need to get them to work together?

Nothing. Just plug it in and it'll work. Haven't you tried that yet?

I haven't gotten the card yet, it's going to be a Christmas gift.

I just wanted to make sure I'd be ready for when I do get it.

Dual link is only needed for larger display resolutions.
