I just orderd my new rig, but now I allready see a mistake i made with the AIO cooler. I went with the Fractual North case and a 280mm AIO with the idea of mounting it at the top of the case. I read the case specs which said support for 140 case fans up top, but what i didnt read was the net part, 240mm AIO top support. So now i am think of mounting it in the front instead by moving the two 140 front fans to the top and my 280mm AIO in front. But now i started to think about GPU size. I bought the XTX 6950xt which is 34cm and the case suppert 35.5cm. On papir it should be all good with a 1.5cm clearance, but will the front AIO take up vastly more space at the front and by so doing, not fit with the GPU?

I am building my new rig in the Fractual North case and my 6950 is too long with a front mounted AIO. My AIO is 280mm which wont fit at the top of the case. North has a bracket for side mounting fans and I have seen people using it for AIO. But I cant find much information on temps or possible AIO deterioration.

Anyone with any insight into this, or should I change my AIO to a 240mm and mount it at to top of the case?
