Question about Gpu

I want to buy a MSI 970 gaming 4g and my monitor is VGA. I saw that in the package that it has a dvi to vga and wanted to ask if I put my VGA port to the thingy will it be converted to dvi ??

In essence it should. Might you be able to pass on the rest of your (full)system's specs? Your PSU capable of power the new GPU you're looking at?

Not sure exactly what the question is, but if you connect a DVI to VGA adapter to the DVI port on the graphics card and then connect your monitor to the adapter with a VGA cable, it will work. Hopefully that answers your question.

It'll work with that adapter. The new GTX 10xx series from Nvidia are the ones that don't output analog through DVI anymore, so you'd need a different kind of adapter for that.
