Question about GTX 1060 laptop

What will perform better a GTX 1060 3gb or a GTX 1060 6gb (MaxQ) on a laptop?
(EDIT) thank you for the answers, so if I had to choose between a Dell laptop that had the 1060 MaxQ and an i7 8750h and a Lenovo y520 with the 1060 3gb and an i7 7700hq which one would be the best choice for some gaming/video editing? Both have 128gb SSDs as well

The MaxQ 6GB is still a 6GB 1060, with more restrictions on clock speeds.

It's still a stronger GPU than a 3GB 1060 - there's more cut down that just the VRAM.
