When I bought this new PC months ago, I didn't knew that much about motherboards so I guessed this one was good (Asus H81-Gamer). Not sure if H81 means some kind of limitation at overclocking or performance issues.
I couldn't overclock from the BIOS (maybe because it was my first time and I didn't know very well how to do it). My only method to overclock my CPU was AI Suite 3 -TurboV EVO and then Auto Tuning (http://i.imgur.com/0QsyCrZ.png). At this moment my CPU has 4.3Ghz (from 3.5) and I'm not seeing any trouble yet, but maybe a H81 mobo can not release the full potential of a processor? Can someone explain me how does this works and what can affect to a CPU with OC?
Also if a non-z mobo can affect the overclock somehow, the same goes to a graphic card? Maybe it could explain why I only could do a slight overclock to my GPU.
My computer:
Asus H81-Gamer
i5-4690k 4.3
MSI GTX 960 OC
16GB G.Skill 1600 DDR3 CL9
Should I replace my mobo or stick with my current motherboard? Can I go for 5.0Ghz?
