So right now I have 2x HDD pluged into my PC -
WD Green 1TB
Toshiba Laptop 80GB Drive
I'm running OS and my Games on my WD Green drive and the games are having Insane Stutter Issue so I shifted my Game to my Toshiba Drive and they were playing better than my WD Drive for some reason...
I then Installed Crystal Disk Mark and tested the sequential Write/Read speeds of 1000mb file on my both drive and the Results were as follows
WD Green - Read = 92.5MB/s ----- Write = 90.93MB/s
Toshiba - Read = 30.1MB/s ----- Write = 28.6MB/s
so If the Toshiba Drive is slow than my WD Green then why Shifting games to other drive reduced the Stutters ???? I also had opened Task Manager during the Test and I saw the Average Response times during tests of both drives
WD = 800-1400ms and sometimes It peaked upto 2000ms
Toshiba = 400-580 and sometimes it peaked upto 700ms
So is the Average Response time response-able for the Stutter in my games ?? because clearly the Read and Write speed isn't ....
I'm planning to buy a WD Black 1TB WD1002FAEX in few days to solve my Stutter problem in games so If the Average Response time is response-able for my Stutter then can anyone tell me the Response Time of WD Black 1TB ???? and is the Response time really the reason for my Game Stutters ?
