Question Question about HDMI 1.4 monitors for nextgen consoles.

I'm going to buy a monitor for the first time, they say the monitors are very different than TVs. The monitor I want to buy is ASUS VG278Q and this monitor has HDMI 1.4. If a PS5 or XSX game release with 4k 120fps support, can I play this game with 1080p and 120hz with no problem on this monitor? Thanks.
