Question about how to keep things kool

Hi im the newbie about, i am wondering about which method/way is the best way to keep the CPU/processor, graphic card and the computer in general kool?

1: decent thermal paste for CPU
2: Good airflow in case
3: Fans, fans, fans! 1 blowing air in at front, 1 at back blowing air out and good fans for CPU, GPU.
4: Heatsinks
5: For extreme cooling look up about water cooling.
