The motherboard I am using is Asus - ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard and the CPU is AMD - Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core Processor. I want to know if I should get a soundcard or not.

Solution
That motherboard comes with an 8-Channel High Definition Audio with these features below.
If you think that is not enough then you might want to look into a sound card.

  • Impedance sense for front and rear headphone outputs
  • Supports : Jack-detection, Multi-streaming, Front Panel Jack-retasking
  • High quality 120 dB SNR stereo playback output and 113 dB SNR recording input
  • SupremeFX Shielding Technology
  • Supports up to 32-Bit/192kHz playback *5
Audio Feature :
  • Optical S/PDIF out port(s) at back panel
  • Sonic Radar III
  • Sonic Studio III + Sonic Studio Link
