Question about Laptop's RAM - 2133 Mhz with 2400 Mhz

Does the Asus ROG GL552VX laptop supports Crucial DDR4 2400 Mhz RAM?

The built in RAM has 2133 MHz, but will it support 2400 Mhz?
If it will, then the 2400 Mhz will downgrade to 2133 Mhz?

Im confused, please reply :/

it should downclock the ram to 2133,however,go into bios and look for intel xmp profile and enable it,that will run it at rated

It's a bit of a lottery matching frequency and CAS so you may or may not be able to run, may or may not be able to enable XMP and may or may not be able to manually tweak the voltage/freq. Try it and see!
