How important is latency for a 3700x/3900x based build?
See build below:

The current choice for RAM has CAS of 19-20-20-40....is this ok? I am attempting to find a right balance between price and performance, i.e., value.

thanks in advance.

That's pretty high Cas latency, my Kingston is running at Cl 16. 3600MHz. but in general it's not very important. Capacity and frequency are more important.

Thanks for the post...yeah, I was concerned about the latency, but it seems that it may not make any difference especially if one does not overclock?

Also, I tried to find 2x16 Kingston memory with CAS of 16 but was unable to.....
