Hi there,

I'm hoping to purchase an LG 27GN850 and I want to use it with an Invision PC Monitor Arm.
I've read that the monitor has 100mm by 100mm VESA holes at the back which makes me assume that the monitor arm would be compatible with it. The arm supports "75mm by 75mm" and "100mm by 100mm".

However I've emailed LG support and they replied that this particular monitor would not be compatible. They didn't really specify the reason and I'm a bit confused as to why the items would not be compatible with each other.
I've never owned a monitor that had VESA ports at the back nor have I used VESA wall mounts or monitor arms so I'm new to this. I've asked people on Amazon answers whether the items would be compatible - some say they are compatible while others say they are not.

Here's a link to both of these items:

I'm just wondering if anyone who owns an LG Ultragear 27GN850, LG Ultragear 27GL83A-B 27 or 27GL850 could give me advice on this matter? All of these LG monitors are related to each other and would have the same VESA ports at the back.

Any helpful information would be much appreciated!
