So I´ve instaled Linux Mint alongside Windows 10. The issue is that I´ve got all my steam games on my second hard drive, and after mounting it on Linux when I head to steam and try to add the games library it tells me that it need to be empty. But if I try to create a new one it tells me that it cannot write onto the drive because is mounted as read-only.

I need help please because I want to do a bunch of benchmarks with Linux and DXVK in some games.

Thanks

Solution

You'd do that from within the running Linux OS.

Okay and how do I create another steam library to install them. The system tells me that is read-only.

Okay thank you so much for your help, but I finally got it working by mounting the drive in another way anyways thank you. I also tested what you told me and I´m able to do it too. Thank you!!!!!
