Hi Guys !
i have (maybe a weird) question.
i have a ssd in my computer as boot-up drive for windows 7, beside my ssd i have a HDD where i store all of my music, pictures etc. Now i want to let windows only see my HDD. so i windows cant write files or savegames onto it. is this possible ?
if so, i would like to have a link or tutorial on how to do this.

Ps ; Sorry for my bad english

Greets, Kevin

You can't hide the boot drive from Windows. If Windows can't see the drive, it won't boot into Windows, pretty obvious I would have thought.

When you install games or applications use the installation dialogue box to change the installation path manually or choose "Custom Install" where available.

Bear in mind, however, that whatever drive you choose for a game or application installation, some support files will still be written to the Windows folder & to your user account folder on the boot drive. That is unavoidable.
