OK, I know this is a really dumb question, but I'll ask it
anyway. The instructions for making Win2k install
floppies say to "execute makeboot.exe (from dos) or
makebt32.exe (from 32 bit)." Should I use the 32 bit
version for executing from Windows 95, or should I open a
command prompt window and use the dos version? Does it
make a difference?

Use makebt32.exe from a win9x machine or better yet just boot the Windows
2000 install CD-Rom

Boot windows using a genric boot disk. At the dos prompt
go to the drive that you hve your windows 2000 cd on (eg
D:\) do a change directory to bootdisk directory. You will
see "makeboo.exe" file. create your disk (four required)
