Question about mechanical keyboards

If you press down fully, does it damage the keyboard?

It shouldn't damage the keyboard. The keyboard usually has a higher activation point so you don't need to fully push it down. It's like asking if pressing down fully on a normal keyboard will damage it. They are meant to be pressed/typed on.

No, say if it is a Cherry MX keyboard, they test it by bottoming out the keys, not just actuating the switch. If it does anything, it's just hard plastic hitting hard plastic a lot. No big deal.

it dosnt i bottom out on my Black Widow Ultimate 2013 cheery MX blue and still no issues

i bottom out around 30% of the time and my keyboard is still not damaged
