Is Patriot Signature 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory good?

or is there a better alternative?

While I don't personally buy Patriot memory, I do see that it gets generally good reviews.

They look to be ok, but this is cheaper and just as good, if not better.

I'm assuming that you don't need LP (Low Profile) RAM (even thought the Ripjaws aren't extremely tall), even with the 212 Evo, since you only chose 8GB of RAM to begin with. Even so, the fan on the 212 Evo can be adjusted upwards a bit to clear tall RAM heatspreaders if needed.
