Question about mobile Wifi

When it comes to the internet, if it's not broadband, I'm somewhat technologically illiterate. My question is, will this device allow me to access the internet via my home computer? If not, is there a way to do so?

Is your "home computer" a laptop? If so, then yes that device would enable you to connect to the internet, via WiFi (alternatively if your home computer is a desktop machine and you have either a usb WiFi dongle, or an internal WiFi card installed, you could also access the internet wirelessly).
