Asus XG27AQM
Dell Alienwar AW2721D

Does the asus really have such a bad coating ?

Depends on what you want and how much you want to spend. Some sites you can visit to read about them are rtings.com and pcmonitors.info or watch youtube reviews from hardware unboxed or such.

The ROGs are supposed to be the highest premium products money can buy in the specs that define them but they are too expensive for me. I never touch LG and Dell from my past experiences.

After spending a lot of time searching and probing, I bought BenQ Ex2710Q because of my previous experience with the brand and the things it offers in my price range.

Ok, but can your existing hardware push frames at 1440p at greater than 60 Hz?
The hardware will push something over 60FPS :D , it’s not that outdated
Intel i9 9900K
Nvidia 2080 Ti
16 gb ram
I can't get BenQ in my country...

I am using an Acer Predator model #XB271HUABMIPRZ. It is a 27", 1440P, 1ms response time, TN panel rated at 144Hz but able to overclock to 165Hz. I bought mine back in 2017 for around $600. It is on Amazon right now for $464 US dollars. I love this monitor and will only upgrade when I can get a 32" 4K with at least 144Hz at a GOOD price.

There's very, Very few monitors of any difference. Most are using the same actual panel used by a bunch of other brands, Gigabyte, Asus, Acer, MSI etc using the same LG panel, just different brands, different frames, different drivers and tailorable settings.

Dell sells some of the best monitors around, but so does Gigabyte, Acer, Asus, Samsung, BenQ etc. The differences are entirely in the model number, and thats what trips up many ppl. There are differences between an Asus ROG Swift PG279QM and the PG279Q that aren't apparent on the surface.
