Question about motherboard and RAM

So I'm looking to add/upgrade my RAM on my motherboard which is the Foxconn 2ADA H-JOSHUA-H61-uATX, and when i checked the specs online, it said that it Supports the following:
PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333)
PC3-12800 (DDR3-1600).
I'm not exactly tech savvy so I don't really understand what this means. Does it mean that it supports up to 1600 MHz? Is that what i should pick? Would appreciate any form of reply!

Yes that's exactly what it means but going over 1333MHz is not going to give any better performance with socket 775 processors.

But my mother board has LGA 1155 and runs on intel i5-3470 3.2GHz, so does that mean it's fine to get the 1600MHz RAM?

Yes it will run at 1600 MHz just don't expect some visible gains.
