Question about my Dell S2009W monitor

Hi! I have a Dell S2009W monitor that came with a Dell XP system. I'd like to be able to use the same monitor with a Vista system I'm trying to clean out. I'm having trouble figuring out (1) if this will even work, and (2) what driver(s) I need to transfer to the XP system.

I'll be very grateful for any pointers anyone can give me.

Ooops! Typed that hurriedly and somehow said it backwards. Monitor came with the Vista system, and I want to be able to use it with the XP system. I need to consolidate, and it would help to be able to get rid of the older monitor (on the computer with XP). Tried just plugging the S2009W into the XP computer; didn't work.
