So I've been noticing little issues with my PC for a while now that occur when the PC's been on a while, things like:
My *PROBLEMS*
1. Loading certain pages on Google Chrome takes longer (15+ seconds)
2. Sometimes when switching from 1 tab to another on Chrome the tab is white and then loads up after (5-7 seconds)
3. Sometimes Windows Menu won't open on Windows 10 (have to restart computer).
4. Sometimes text registers 2-3 seconds after I click the keys on my keyboard.
5. Right clicking anything has a 1-2 second delay sometimes more.
MY *PC SPECS*:
HDD: Seagate ST2000DM001 2TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s

OS: Windows 10 Pro
CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q9450 @ 2.66GHz
RAM: 2 x 2GB OCZ DDR2 1333MHZ 1.8V
GPU: Club 3D royalQueen Radeon R9 270X
PSU: 750W
I have been noticing the "Active time" for this drive consistently staying at %100. The drive currently has 352 GB of 1.81 GB free.

It's weird the "Active time" is actually lower when I'm transferring data

I also noticed sometimes the HDD usage stables out at 50% but the RAM takes a beating (varies from 95-99%).
So here are my potential *SOLUTIONS*:
1. Backup important data to 750GB harddrive and factory reset the 2TB and start from scratch
2. Put an OS on the 750GB and use that as my main HDD
*SIDE NOTE*:
I just read some reviews of this drive on Newegg and a lot of people are saying their drive died around 2-3 years of use. I purchased this drive in 2013, do you think maybe I need to replace my drive?
*MY QUESTIONS FOR YOU*:
1. What are your thoughts on my current situation and what would you suggest I do to help the speed of my overall PC?
2. Do you know why certain operations are opening slow or why mouse or key inputs sometimes lag?
3. Is 100% Active time normal for a HDD?
