my new asus strix scar 2 gaming laptop keeps switching to high performance mode even after I switch it to balanced. please help. seems to happen when I restart the laptop.

can you tell me if 55 to 60 fps onn battlefield 5 high settings with 1080p 144hz is normal performance for my laptop with a gtx 1060 6gb and a i7 8750h cpu?

I'd say thats about right, I wouldn't expect anything more from a 1060.

I have a asus rog strix scar 2 gaming laptop, specs are i7 8750h cpu, gtx 1060 6gb video card, 16gb ddr4 ram, anyways its almost as if the power brick is not providing enough power so its drawing from the battery while playing battlefield 5 in turbo mode set on the laptop. please help. asus said this is normal, butt im just double checking.
