Hello community i just joined this forum but i have been reading for a long time :)
lets get in the subject now,i just update my pc today with the following hardware:
Motherboard: z77X-D3H
Cpu:intel i5 3570 3.40 GHz
Memory:8GB
and i have an nvidia gt240 from my last computer with 450W power supply..
i installed them nice with no problems,i just have to ask you a question about the CPU cooler,i installed the i5 with its stock cooler, but i have this cooler too from my last pc ( http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cooling/2010/03/22/akasa-nero-s-cpu-cooler-review/1 ).The guy in the store told me to put the cooler that is in the box with the i5 proccessor, but i read in the net that the akasa cooler is better,so i want to ask you should i keep the stock that i have now,or should i put my akasa cooler in the box?

thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english :)

As quoted from the linked review "Supported Sockets: Intel LGA775, Intel LGA1156, Intel LGA1366. AMD Socket AM2, AM2+, AM3". The 1155 socket is not stated to be compatible there. Although that is an old review and Akasa states that the cooler does fit the 1155 socket I'm not sure if it came with the mounting mechanism for 1155 so you may have to order it separately as popatim and compgenie said.

ooh i now understood what you guys ment :)
yeah but i have one problem, akasa has released like a bunch of "Nero" models and some of them ARE compatible with 1155 socket but they all look same!i dont have the box of the cooler and it just says "nero" on it,i have to give it a closer look to see if it says its version somewhere...if i cant put that to my motherboard i guess i have to stay with the stock one.and 1 more question i have to ask you:
my pcu is 450 W and as you readed before my graphics card sucks and i think it might bottleneck,i have to ask if i can afford to buy a graphics card for gaming for around 200$ with out having to buy a new PCU too that would be too much.with this GPU i want to play games like Battlefield 3,Far Cry 3 like very demanding games at ultra settings, feel free to suggest me anything guys thanks again :)

I'm not sure, but you might need a new psu (500w+) if you want to max out with a powerful gpu. What resolution are you playing at?

my desktop's 1920/1080,and right now on BF 3 i have this resolution and low settings, but if i put my resolution to 1280/720 i can max it with gt240,but i want to max it with full resolution(any resolution between 1280/720 and 1920/1080 isnt full screen it has blanks in the sides) :/
so im thinking to buy HD7850 1GB i heard it isnt very demanding in case of power..

Yea, it isn't very demanding, but you wouldn't be able to max out anything. To max everything out, a HD 7950 is what you need

Use this psu calculator
www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculator.jsp
It will be round 400w but the amd site recommends a 500w psu.
If you can get a new psu, get this,

I'm assuming you live in the UK.

I don't know about prices, but the the hd 7870 or the 7870 LE are great choices. If you can get them. Try to find the LE version, if you can't, go with the normal 2gb 7870....
