My nzxt tempest 210 didn't come with the bottom mesh filter that can slide out, but there's a place to put one in(like the other models that have the filter on the bottom that slides in, has the notches on mine too). I'm curious if there's a place to buy a replacement for one of these?

my case : http://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Technologies-TEMPEST-210-Midtower/dp/B0066130CM

The nzxt 210 case that is basically the same but comes with a mesh filter for the bottom, the case I have has a mesh filter on the front panel so I guess they decided not to add one to the bottom to cut the cost.

this is how the bottom looks

Also do you think it's worth having all 8 fans? Or should I just buy 2 front/2 top/leave bottom and side fans alone?

Solution
I had a look on NZXT's website and it doesn't look like you can buy just the filter. It is a very common practice to cut up some black pantyhose and use that. It works the same if not better and is VERY cheap. I would just do this.

If that does not work, your local hardware store should have varying size mesh grating that you could buy and cut to size. This would be more expensive but is a good option as well.
Wow? Why are you so upset about a bump that was over 24 hours that you didn't even READ my thread...

I ask about is it worth having fans for a "minor" question, the topic title and my paragraph about mesh filters compared to my one sentence about cooling..

All I'm wanting to know is if there's a place I can buy the correct slide in mesh filters that have notches on the bottom of my case to slide in, so I don't have to knock them evenly with the case with a hammer to make a magnet filter work properly. The 2nd case I showed you was giving you an example to see what the filter I'm looking for looks like.

I guess it would of been easier to make a new thread if I'm not allowed to bump my thread over a certain amount of time.

Thanks! :)

Alright, cool thanks! I'm considering what you said about 3 fans, and I'm considering only putting 2 tops fans/2 front/1 back and not putting nothing on the side or bottom. I do still plan on buying those demci filters for my side panel just to keep out dust, and go buy some filters to cut out to slide in the bottom of my pc.

Thanks a lot! I'm glad i finally made up my mind, I couldn't debate on what to do with my fan setup. I read more outake than intake and 2 front/3 back fans and let the side panel just stay open to bring in fresh air too with a mesh filter to keep out the dust. I just like to easy mode my computer and clean it out easily without having to open it up every month. I would rather clean the filters, and then open the dust with a can of air and blow it out quickly and bam!
